Toujours au même endroit avec un poste fixe ?

Optez pour un micro sur une perche ou un bras articulé. Ainsi placé au-dessus de votre visage, le micro produira un excellent son en libérant l’espace devant vous et vous permettra de gérer clavier et souris sans contraintes.
Cette configuration permet de placer le microphone hors champs mais relativement près de la bouche. Plutôt pertinent si l’on pense que la règle est que plus le microphone est proche de la source audio, meilleure est la qualité sonore.
La session finie, l’installation se replie aisément et restera disponible pour votre prochaine intervention.

Toujours mobile équipé d’un ordinateur portable ?

Dans ce cas, plus simple à transporter, un micro-cravate sera idéal.
Si vous veillez à ce que rien ne le touche comme une pièce de tissu, qui pourrait faire un bruit de frottement vos participants vous en remercieront. Pensez seulement à la longueur de cordon dont vous avez besoin et éventuellement prévoir une rallonge pour ne pas être limité dans vos mouvements.

Mention spéciale : Casque écouteur + micro

C’est très bien pour les commentateurs de match de foot qui sont dans un environnement bruyant, pour un gamer qui présente une session de jeu car il a besoin de s’immerger dans une ambiance sonore et/ou communiquer avec d’autres joueurs avec beaucoup de sons ambiants
Mais c’est parfaitement inutile pour un webinaire ou une webconf et selon votre environnement, votre image peut apparaître un peu décalée.
Si vous l’utilisiez pour le son : prenez un micro. Si vous avez besoin d’isoler votre environnement de vos échanges dans le cas de web conf, préférez les simples écouteurs de votre téléphone.

Les webcams intégrées de nos ordinateurs sont pratiques mais inadaptées pour deux raisons :

Tout d’abord sauf exception, leurs performances ne vous offriront pas le niveau de qualité suffisante. A moins de disposer de la perle rare, il est recommandé d’utiliser une webcam externe qui pourra vous offrir une image de bien meilleure qualité pour un investissement très raisonnable. Notez également qu’il n’est pas nécessaire de pousser à l’excès inverse en s’équipant de caméra 4 K.

Encore plus important que votre caméra, l’éclairage est déterminant.

Une scène mal éclairée sera mauvaise, quelle que soit la qualité de votre caméra.
L’essentiel est que votre visage soit éclairé de part et d’autre.

Une lampe sur pied et une lampe de bureau positionnées de part et d’autre de votre poste de travail pourront donner un très bon résultat. Attention à bannir tout éclairage néon qui fera scintiller votre image.

Dans la mesure du possible bannissez tout équipement sans fil

Le Wifi est évidement une techno géniale et qui fonctionne très bien mais il est pratiquement impossible de garantir une parfaite stabilité de votre connexion.
A la moindre baisse de performance de votre installation, la sanction est immédiate : son altéré, image dégradée ou même figée, présentation hachée.

Bref, vous n’assurez pas le service attendu de votre public.

Concernant le Bluetooth, c’est une autre problématique : l’autonomie de vos appareils. Dans le cadre de webmeeting ou webinaire, les principales utilisations sont les écouteurs / micro type Airpod.
Selon le produit que vous utilisez et son âge, vous pourrez avoir du mal à gérer l’autonomie de votre équipement.
Vous prenez donc le risque de voir baisser les performances de votre matériel jusqu’à tomber en panne en cours de session avec un magnifique « excusez moi je n’ai plus de batterie mais bougez pas je m’équipe et je reviens ».

Vous pensez que cela met de la vie et du naturel dans votre intervention ? Peut-être pour certain, les autres pouvant se dire que vous n’avez pas assez préparé votre intervention.

Autre configuration à proscrire : la connexion en 4G. Ça dépanne pour lire /envoyer vos mails et votre navigation mais un flux audio + vidéo consomme énormément de bande passante. Les débits 4G sont 1000 fois inférieur à une installation en fibre.
Donc oui vous pourrez vous connecter à un un webinar ou un webmeeting, mais la qualité que vous allez proposer a toutes les « chances », d’être particulièrement mauvaise.

Vous l’avez compris, dès que vous en aurez la possibilité, préférez les connexions au réseau par câble ethernet et des accessoires filaires.
